The Art of Inner Resiliency
INNER power has an OUTER influence
When we are centered and clear, we do not create unnecessary drama. We solve problems more easily by staying centered and holding space for the problems to be resolved with greater grace and ease. Staying centered and holding space allows appropriate levels of courage, care, and concern simultaneously. When we feel this kind of inner strength and clarity we become empowered to both allow and simultaneously shape our reality as it is unfolding now.
In Martial Arts, Qigong and Meditation we can discover a place of INNER POWER which we often call our center. The Center is the immovable mover. It cannot be moved. You can fall asleep to the awareness of it, but it is always there and therefore can be (with training) counted on in any situation. When any person and/ or leader is emotionally triggered by someone or some event and they are emotionally reactive, on some level they believe that they have been threatened. This is what we call emotional reaction or being uncentered or off-center.
When we are in our center we are in our place of inner power, inner strength, and simultaneously our inner connectedness, inner resourcefulness, gentleness, and genius It all lives there. When we are uncentered we create conflict within ourselves and typically unconsciously around us. We will run into it so to speak in our outer world because we are attracting it from the inside out. So if we desire to calm our surroundings and create peace, clarity, and prosperity for the companies we serve then we need to begin with ourselves and our teams.
Keeping our cool and staying centered has perhaps never been a more important theme in our lives. Outer challenges of the pandemic have brought up many triggers for many people. It is important to know that there are options here. Operating from our center has a very different influence on the world of people, places, and events that revolve around us than when we operate from a place of ego, a place of being off-center. When we are uncentered we operate from old habits, old coping strategies, and old emotional reactions. We inevitably make ourselves part of the problem rather than part of the solution. Every leader should be solution-focused but in order to resolve challenges and overcome obstacles one must learn to first operate from their center.
Many of our cycles of conflict are unconscious emotional reactions from our minds and bodies. These emotional loops can keep us stuck. Mental and emotional frameworks of competition, victimization, and separating from others are common ways leaders weaken their power (called “inauthentic power" or “power leaks”). The behaviors stemming from insecure leaders who are not "in their power" unknowingly send their teams into emotional tailspins, competition, gossiping, and therefore, lower performance.
There is good news! Authentic INNER POWER is associated with harmony and spaciousness, which allows individuals and groups to stay connected and work autonomously. When leaders set the tone from this place, there is a sense of trust, group empowerment, clarity, capacity for problem-solving, and human flourishing.
Key Workshop Outcomes:
Include something extra for your recients and take your experience to the next level. We make ordering and delivery a cinch so just sit back and collect the “thank yous”.
Select a themed box that matches your event perfectly or let your recipients choose what they like best.
How about some team hats, noise makers for those winning moments or koozies for their “beverages”
Send everyone a gourmet delicacy for the big event.
